Skipper Greg Chappell's fighting hundred in a losing cause at Old Trafford is described by Richie Benaud as one of the greatest innings he ever saw.
He scored 112 out of Australia's second innings total of 218 as they went down by 9 wickets to a rampant England team led by Mike Brearley.
