Aussies in charge as rash Lankans throw it again: 2nd Test, Day 1 (Pallekelle)

Australia were in charge after bowling out Sri Lanka for an under par 174 on a good batting track.

Fast bowler Ryan Harris led the way with three wickets and Trent Copeland, Mitchell Johnson and Nathan Lyon picked up two each as the Lankan batsman threw their wickets away.

Vice-captain Angelo Mathews cracked three sixes and six boundaries in an aggressive 58 to boost the total, but seven batsmen failed to reach double figures.

Australia then raced to 60 for no loss before bad light ended play 5.2 overs early.
