Aussies romp to win despite defiant Mahela ton: 1st Test, Day 4 (Galle)
A battling century from Mahela Jayawardene (105) was not enough to save Sri Lanka from a heavy 125 run defeat by Australia.
Starting the day at 120-5, Jayawardene and Angelo Mathews (95) combined in a sixth-wicket stand of 142 to frustrate the tourists. Jayawardene was bowled by Ryan Harris (5-62) to spark a collapse.
