New Zealand keep semi-final hopes alive: ICC Champions Trophy ( Jo'burg)

Jesse Ryder smashed the quickest fifty of the tournament 74 with the aid of a runner to help New Zealand beat Sri Lanka by 38 runs and boost their semifinal hopes which they can seal with a win over England. Ryder put on 125 with Brendon McCullum 46 to take the Kiwi's to an imposing 3157 their highest ever score against Sri Lanka. Mahela Jayawardene hit 77 and Nuwan Kulasekara an unbeaten 57 but Sri Lanka were all out for 277. ICC Champions Trophy J'borg Sept 2009.
