Des Haynes smashed 78 (116 balls) as he put on 90 with Greenidge (52) to take the West Indies to 220 all out in 48 overs.
Australia were riding high at 141-2 but collapsed after Boon (71) was bowled by Marshall to finish at 219-8, losing by 1 run.
