Mahmudullah leads fight but India on top: 1st Test, Day 3 (Chittagong)

Allrounder Mahmudullah led a lower order fightback with a careerbest 69 and combined with wicketkeeperMushfiqur Rahim 44 as Bangladesh recovered from a batting collapse 98-6 to make 242 just 1 run in arrears.

India regained the initiative with a 90run stand for the opening wicket with Shakib Al Hasan snaring Virender Sehwag 45 just before stumps to leave them at 122 for one.
