Pakistan shot out for new record low of 72: 2nd Test, D1 (Edgbaston)

On an overrcast day, Salman Butt's decision to bat first backfired as they collapsed for 72, their lowest Test score against England. James Anderson (4-20) and Stuart Broad (4-38) used the conditions well to inflict the damage.

Pakistan's butter fingered fielders then dropped three simple chances as Trott (31 not out) and Kevin Pietersen (36 not out) saw England to a dominant 112-2.

2nd Test, Day 1 (Edgbaston). Aug 2010.
