The 5th Test was called off just 2 hours before play was to have started leaving fans angry. No Indian player had been diagnosed with COVID and the entire team passed their tests on Thurs.

The ECB’s official statement said India had forfeited the game, which would have meant a 2-2 series draw, but was soon changed to remove the F-word.
