Fastest ever ton: Misbah equals Viv's record, breaks fastest fifty (Abu Dhabi)

Pakistani skipper Misbah-ul-Haq unleashed carnage on Australia's bowlers to record the equal-fastest Test century (56 balls) to match Viv Richard's record from 1986. This record was subsequently beaten by Brendon McCullum in 2016.

Misbah-ul-Haq scored the fastest half-century in Test cricket to eclipse Jacques Kallis of South Africa who took 24 balls in 2005.
