Cook on record double ton: did not know I passed Don

Alastair Cook broke Sir Donald Bradman's 70-year-old record for the highest ever score at the 'Gabba to send Australia’s misfiring bowlers into the second Test with their tails between their legs, but Ponting remained full of fight.

England declared at 1-517 yesterday with Cook unconquered on 235 and Trott unbeaten on 135. Cook knocked off Bradman's 'Gabba record of 226 he made in 1931. Strauss and Ponting add their post-match comments.
