Gul leads Pakistan fight back: 1st Test, Day 2 (Dubai)

Umar Gul led the way with the ball as Pakistan staged a fight-back by bowling out South Africa for 380, taking the last 8 wickets for 78 runs.

Openers Mohammad Hafeez and Taufeeq Umar proceeded to notch a 50-run partnership after just nine overs.

Pakistan finished at 144 for 2 (Azhar 12*, Younis 21*) to trail South Africa 380 (Smith 100, Amla 80, Kallis 73, Petersen 67, Gul 3-100) by 236 runs.
