Hussey stages recovery after collapse: 1st Test, D2 (Gabba)
England's bowlers did well after lunch to cause a collapse as the hosts slid from 96-1 to 143-5 with James Anderson (2-40) and Steven Finn (2-61)doing the damage.
But under-pressure Mike Hussey (81 not out) dropped on zero, hit back with Brad Haddin as the Aussies reached 220-5 in reply to England's 260, before rain brought an early finish.
