England sniff win after KP, Swann strikes: 2nd Test, D4 (Adelaide)

Kevin Pietersen followed up his highest test score (227) by striking with the final ball of day to put England on course for victory. KP took his first test wicket since 2008 when he had Michael Clarke (80) caught at short-leg to leave Australia on a shaky 238-4, still 137 runs behind. After a 83 run opening stand by Katich and Watson, Graeme Swann took 2 wicket in a menacing spell on the crumbling wicket. Earlier England declared on 620-5 after adding 69 in nine overs, Pietersen out for a Test-best 227 and Ian Bell on 68.2nd Test, Day 4 (Adelaide). Dec 2010
