Tharanga steers Lankans to win: 2nd ODI (SSC)

Opener Upul Tharanga hit an unbeaten century (101 not out) to steer Sri Lanka to an eight-wicket win.

The hosts chased down a rain-affected target of 197 in 47 overs, to finish on 199-2.

Earlier, the West Indies had posted 203 all out in their 50 overs, Darren Bravo (39) and Dwayne Bravo (39) the top scorers with Lasith Malinga taking 3-30.

Sri Lanka 199 for 2 (Tharanga 101*, Jayawardene 48*) beat West Indies 203 (Dwayne Bravo 39, Malinga 3-30) by eight wickets.
