This South African cricketing allrounder retired from all forms of the game after the last ODI against the Windies in Feb 2008.
Hailing from the great Pollock cricketing family Shaun was the captain of the South African cricket team from 2000 to 2003.He was chosen as the Wisden Cricketer of the Year in 2003. Having both taken over 420 test wickets and scored over 3781 test runs in his 108 test.
