Last innings: Indian fall short despite Gavaskar century (1987)

Sunil Gavaskar scored an epic 96 (264 balls) in his last test innings on a turning pitch as India were bowled out for 204 to fall short by 16 runs.

Pakistan made 116 and 249, as Gavaskar was the only Indian to stand tall with only 3 other batsmen making double figures. Pakistan won the 5 test series 1-0. 5th Test, Bangalore, 13 March 1987.
