Bell and KP punish India in record stand: 4th Test, Day 2 (Oval)

Kevin Pietersen (175) and Ian Bell (181 not out) hit a record 350-run stand against a weary India as England ended on 457-3.

They surpassed Graham Gooch and Allan Lamb's partnership of 308 against India at Lord's in 1990 and posted England's seventh highest stand against any team.

The tourists' ragged fielding betrayed them again as they sought to avoid a 4-0 whitewash.
