Marsh & Hussey tons extend lead: 2nd Test, Day 3 (Pallekelle)

Shaun Marsh became the first Australian to score a Test century in Sri Lanka on debut. Marsh became the 19th Australian to make a century on debut, sharing a record 258-run fourth-wicket stand with Michael Hussey.

Shaun Marsh eventually fell for a stunning 141 as Australia reached 7 for 411 at stumps.

The hosts struck back with three wickets for one run including two wickets in successive balls by off spinner Suraj Randiv before rain brought an early end.
