England clinched the one-day series against India as a gripping fourth game ended in a rain-affected tie in a confusing D/L result.

Ravi Bopara scored a magnificent 96 to guide England to the brink of victory but 2 late wickets and a heavy downpour ended the match with 11 needed off 7 balls.

Earlier, Mahendra Dhoni (78 not out) and Suresh Raina (84) rebuilt the innings steadily from 110-4 with a record 169 run stand.
