Pattinson five spurs nine-wicket win: 1st Test, Day 4 (Gabba)
Debutant James Pattinson spearheaded Australia to a nine-wicket victinfighter taking five for 27 including three wickets in four balls to help rout the Black Caps.
Spinner Nathan Lyon chipped in with three for 19 as the Australians were set just 19 runs to win.
Australia 427 and 1 for 19 beat New Zealand 295 and 150 (Brownlie 42, Pattinson 5-27, Lyon 3-19)by nine wickets.
