Philander rocks Sri Lanka: 1st Test, Day 1 (Centurion)

South Africa are in command of the first Test with Sri Lanka ending day one at 1-90 after skittling their opponents for 180.

Vernon Philander (5-53) became the first South African to take three five-wicket hauls in his first three tests. Dale Steyn, who reached the 250-wicket mark having played one more Test than former Australia quick Dennis Lillee, claimed four for 18.
