IPL Bidding: ill informed Aus media reaction to shock no bids
The Australian media is still coming to terms with the shock "no bids" for its star players such as Hussey & McGrath get passed over even Shane Warne and Ricky Ponting gets bids for substantially less than Jacob Oram and Daniel Vettori etc.
A senior cricket writer from The Australian paper puts forward some pathetic arguments and excuses in this discussion.
