Injured Sehwag rested, Sachin picked for Asia Cup

Sachin Tendulkar was named in the 15-member squad for the Asia Cup but Virender Sehwag has been rested on fitness grounds.

"I can assure you that nobody has been dropped. We have selected the best possible team for the Asia Cup after taking into account the fitness reports from the physiotherapist," said chief of selectors Krishnamachari Srikkanth.

Sunil Gavaskar adds his views and says that more changes were needed after a disastrous tour of Australia.
