The West Indies defeated New Zealand by 56 runs as Chris Gayle struck 85 not out from 52 balls and received plenty of support from Kieron Pollard (63 not out in 29 balls) as they posted a record 209 runs for the loss of just two wickets.With Ross Taylor (10) retired hurt and Ronnie Hira missing because of a broken finger, they struggled to 153-8. 1st T20 (Florida), June 2012
