Proteas clinch last ball thriller after Smith ton: 3rd ODI (Potchefstroom)

Ryan McLaren hit a six off the last ball to steer South Africa to a one-wicket victory.

Chasing the Black Caps' total of 260-9, South Africa looked to be cruising before Graeme Smith holed out for 116 with 32 needed from 27 balls. Earlier, some late hitting from Franklin and Munro took NZ to 260. New Zealand had already won the first two ODIs to claim the series 2-1.

South Africa 264 for 9 (Smith 116) beat New Zealand 260 for 9 (Munro 57, Elliott 54, Franklin 53*, Tsotsobe 4-45, McLaren 4-52) by one wicket.
