Dilshan's short knock (16 off 21 balls) included an extraordinary scoop six off Starc.
Dilshan was then struck by a bouncer attempting to hook Ben Laughlin - he needed treatment for the cut after the ball hit him just above the right eye.
He batted on after treatment but was out soon after.
