Warner heroics cant prevent Lankan win: 1st T20 (Sydney)

Sri Lanka lost 4-23 midway through their jittery chase, but eventually cruised to victory with seven balls to spare as David Warner's best-ever T20 innings (90 not out in 62 balls) couldn't help Australia turn around their poor T20 reputation.

Thisara Perera (19 off 12) brought up the win with consecutive sixes, after Kushal Perera (33 from 22) paved the way for the 5 wicket victory.

Sri Lanka 5 for 138 (Mathews 35*) beat Australia 3 for 137 (Warner 90*, Voges 25*) by 5 wickets.
