Left arm quick Mitch Starc wreaked havoc with the ball before Glenn Maxwell smashed a fifty to claim a crushing 9 wicket win.
Starc snared 5-20 to help skittle the West Indies for 70 off 23.5 overs - the lowest ODI score in Perth.
Australia 1 for 71 (Maxwell 51*) beat West Indies 70 (Starc 5-20, McKay 3-10) by nine wickets.
