Dhawan & Vijay maul Aussie attack with record stand: 3rd Test, Day 3 (Mohali)

In an astonishing batting display, 27-year-old debutant Shikar Dhawan exploded onto the scene with the fastest Test century on debut in just 85 balls.

Dhawan (185no) and Murali Vijay (83no) took the home side to 0-283 by scoring at over 5 an over in reply to Australia’s 408.

Earlier, Starc (99) and Smith (92) put on 97 for the 8th wicket to extend Australia's score.
