Dhawan takes India to final with crushing win: 2013 ICC CT Semi IND v SRL (Cardiff)

Shikar Dhawan and Ishant Sharma starred as World champions India thrashed Sri Lanka by eight wickets to book their place in the Champions Trophy final against tournament hosts England.

India restricted the Sri Lankans to 181 for eight in their fifty overs, with Ishant Sharma and Ravi Ashwin taking three wickets each. In reply, Shikhar Dhawan (68) and Virat Kohli (58 not out) wrapped up the game with 15 overs to spare.

India 182 for 2 (Dhawan 68, Kohli 58*) beat Sri Lanka 181 for 8 (Mathews 51, Jayawardene 38, Ishant 3-33, Ashwin 3-48) by 8 wickets.
