India steal win after England flop: 2013 ICC Champions Trophy Final (Edgbaston)

India held their nerve to beat England by five runs in a tense finish to a rain-disrupted Champions Trophy final reduced to 20 overs a side.

Chasing a modest 130, England were set for a historic triumph with 20 needed off 16 balls - they collapsed to 124-8 as Jadeja and Ashwin spun a web to claim 4 wickets for 3 runs. The win gave skipper MS Dhoni a rare triple as the first captain in world cricket to have won all major ICC trophies.

India 129 for 7 (Kohli 43, Jadeja 33*, Bopara 3-20) beat England 124 for 8 (Morgan 30, Ashwin 2-15, Jadeja 2-24) by 4 runs.
