Australia takes upper hand after Lyon strikes: 4th Test, Day 1 (Durham)

Australia took a firm grip as off spinner Nathan Lyon, controversially left out of the first two Ashes Tests in favour of teenager Ashton Agar, took 4 for 42 runs from 20 overs. England succumbed to a mix of disciplined Australian bowling and careless batting, slumped from 149-2, before a last-wicket flurry left them 9-238 at the close. England 238 for 9 (Cook 51, Lyon 4-42) v Australia. 4th Test, Day 1 (Durham)
