Jos Buttler’s extraordinary hitting (65 not out in 48 balls) powered England to a thrilling three-wicket win. Australia had dominated the proceedings thanks to a hat-trick by Clint McKay until Buttler's knock. Earlier, skipper George Bailey made 87 as Australia lost their last five wickets for 18 runs to fall to 227 all out, with James Tredwell taking 3-53.
