England collapse gifts Australia Day thriller: 5th ODI (Adelaide)

A familiar England collapse and a controversial video review decision gifted Australia a comeback five-run win in the fifth and final ODI as the hosts took out a 4-1 series triumph.

Australia posted an under par 217-9 before bowling out the tourists for 212 in 49.4 overs after England collapsed from 154-3. Australia 9 for 217 (Bailey 56, Broad 3-31, Stokes 3-43) beat England 212 (Root 55, Coulter-Nile 3-34, McKay 3-37) by five runs.
