England crumble after Sammy, Bravo rescue: 1st ODI (Antigua)

Michael Lumb scored a superb century (106) on debut but failed to prevent England from losing their opening match against West Indies by 15 runs.

Earlier, the Windies were reduced to 45-4 but were saved by a 108-run partnership between the patient Lendl Simmons (65) and the more cavalier Dwayne Bravo, who was later joined by the explosive Darren Sammy (61 from 52 balls).

West Indies 269 for 6 (Bravo 87*, Sammy 61, Simmons 65, Bresnan 3-68) beat England 254 for 6 (Lumb 106, Moeen 44, Narine 2-36) by 15 runs.
