Ballance century defies India: 2nd Test, Day 2 (Lords)

English batsman Gary Ballance struck his second successive century (110) at Lords.

Moeen Ali (32) and Ballance put on 98 but then fell in the final half hour as the momentum swung back in India's favour, with England closing on 219-6 in reply to the tourists' 295.

England 219 for 6 (Ballance 110, Kumar 4-46) trail India 295 by 76 runs.
