Challenging Umpires: Gavaskar & Taylor on new ICC rule

Players will be able to challenge umpires decisions in a trial starting in the Eng-RSA test series shortly.

The ICC has adopted the recommendation of its Cricket Committee chaired by Sunil Gavaskar.

The idea of a TV review (DRS) by a 3rd umpire was first proposed to the ICC in the mid 1980's by Sri Lanka's Mahinda Wijesinghe.
