Amla century sets up South African win: 1st ODI (Centurion)

Opener Hashim Amla returned to form for the home side, scoring 124 in their 304-7 as RSA beat NZ by 20 runs.

NZ got close after opener Tom Latham had earlier scored 60 and captain Kane Williamson 47, putting on 104 for the second wicket.

South Africa 304 for 7 (Amla 124, Rossouw 89, Milne 2-51) beat New Zealand 284 (Latham 60, Williamson 47) by 20 runs.
