Dilshan, Sachitra star in SL win: 1st T20 (Pallekele)
After the start was delayed by rain, Dilshan (56) and Kusal Perera (40) pummeled the hapless West Indies bowlers to record their highest total against them, reaching an imposing 215-3.
In reply, spinner Sachitra Senanayake (4-46) was the star despite strong hitting from Andre Fletcher (57), Dwayne Bravo (24) and Kieron Pollard (26) as the Windies were dismissed for 185 with a ball to spare.
Sri Lanka 215 for 3 (Dilshan 56) beat West Indies 185 (Fletcher 57, Senanayake 4-46) by 30 runs.
