Fiery Henry sends SL crashing to defeat: 1st ODI (Christchurch)
Paceman Matt Henry (4-49) destroyed the cream of the Sri Lankan top order as they stumbled to 27-5 before a rescue act by Siriwardena (66) and Kulasekera (58) took the visitors to 188 all out.
In reply, Brendon McCullum (55) and Martin Guptill (79) smashed Sri Lanka's attack to all points of the oval to win with 29 overs remaining.
New Zealand 191 for 3 (Guptill 79, McCullum 55) beat Sri Lanka 188 (Siriwardana 66, Kulasekara 58, Henry 4-49, Bracewell 3-37) by seven wickets.
