Record fastest 50s from Guptill, Munro crush sorry SL: 2nd T20 (Auckland)

Colin Munro smashed the 2nd fastest T20 fifty in 14 balls - this was also New Zealand's fastest T20 fifty breaking a record set by Martin Guptill (19 balls) moments earlier as they cantered to a nine-wicket win over Sri Lanka in 10 overs.

Earlier, Sri Lanka collapsed to 142-8 with only Angelo Mathews (81 not out) providing any resistance as medium pacer Grant Elliot took 4-22. The Kiwis won the series 2-0 and Sri Lanka lost their No 1 World T20 ranking due to this loss.

New Zealand 147 for 1 (Guptill 63, Munro 50) beat Sri Lanka 142 for 8 (Mathews 81*, Elliott 4-22) by nine wickets.
