Afridi leads Pakistan win over NZ: 1st T20 (Auckland)

Skipper Shahid Afridi shone with both bat and ball as Pakistan upset the in form NZ team by 16 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. Mohammad Hafeez smashed 61 as Pakistan reached 171-8.

The disgraced Amir returning after his 5 year ban for match fixing opened the bowling, taking 1-31 from four overs as NZ were bowled out for 255 despite Colin Munro's aggressive 56.

Pakistan 171 for 8 (Hafeez 61, Milne 4-37) beat New Zealand 155 (Williamson 70, Munro 56) by 16 runs.
