Terry Alderman: The King of Swing

Terry Alderman discusses his career starting with his first class debut at 18 and then his debut Test tour England in 1981. In that series he took 42 Test wickets, including nine on debut.

He was named as a Wisden Cricketer of the Year in the Almanack's 1982 edition. Alderman dislocated his shoulder after tackling a spectator during the 1982/83 Ashes Test match in Perth.

Alderman was banned for touring South Africa with a rebel team but returned to the Australian side, taking 41 wickets in the 1989 Ashes series.
