Sodhi spin stuns Aussies as NZ win trophy: 3rd ODI (Hamilton)

Leg spinner Ish Sodhi (2-31) was the star with the ball as NZ secured a stunning 55-run win to take the series 2-1.

Retiring captain Brendon McCullum's final ODI was a triumph as the Kiwis won back the Chappell-Hadlee Trophy. Martin Guptill top-scored with 59 in a fast stand of 84 with fellow opening batsman McCullum (47) before NZ lost 6-23 at the end. Chasing the Black Caps' sub-par total of 246 all out, the Australians were bowled out for just 191 after being well placed at 153-4 in the 30th over.

New Zealand 246 (Guptill 59, Elliott 50, M Marsh 3-34) beat Australia 191 (Khawaja 44, Henry 3-60) by 55 runs.
