Voges rides luck, breaks Tendulkar record: 1st Test, Day 2 (Wellington)

When he reached 123 during his knock of 176 not out, Adam Voges passed Sachin Tendulkar's record (497 runs in 2004) to post the most Test runs scored between dismissals.

When on 7, Voges was bowled by Doug Bracewell only for umpire Richard Illingworth to incorrectly signal a no-ball. Usman Khawaja stretched his score to 140 as Australia eased to 463 for six by the close.

Australia 463 for 6 (Voges 176*, Khawaja 140, Smith 71) lead New Zealand 183 by 280 runs.
