Rohit, Nehra crush Bangladesh: 2016 Asia Cup BAN v IND (Mirpur)

India thrashed Bangladesh by 45 runs after a brilliant 83 by Rohit Sharma in the opening encounter of the Asia Cup.

Hardik Pandya smashed a quickfire 18-ball-31 as India posted 166 for six after a shaky start had them at 42 for three at one stage. In reply, Bangladesh could not content with the swing of Ashis Nehra (3-23) as they stumbled to 121-7.

India 166 for 6 (Rohit 83, Pandya 31, Al-Amin 3-37) beat Bangladesh 121 for 7 (Sabbir 44, Nehra 3-23) by 45 runs.
