Mithun shines in thumping win: 2016 Asia Cup BAN v UAE (Mirpur)

Mustafizur Rahman, Mortaza, Mahmudullah and Shakib picked up two wickets each as UAE were shot out for just 82 as Bangladesh won by 51 runs to open their account in Asia Cup.

Earlier, opener Mithun smashed 47 in 47 balls as the home team crumbled from a healthy 72-1 to post 133. Bangladesh 133 for 8 (Mithun 47, Mahmudullah 36, Naveed 2-12) beat UAE 82 (Usman 30, Mustafizue 2-13, Mashrafe 2-12) by 51 runs.
