1956 1st Test: Rain ruins exciting finish (Trent Bridge)
Peter Richardson starred with twin fifties but rain delays cost a result.
The Notts County Cricket ground at Trent Bridge and the first Test. Cricket fans were not deterred by the showery weather. Peter May won the toss from Ian Johnson and it was pads on for the English openers.
