1924: Taylor leads South Africans on English tour

Herbet Taylor led the South African team to England that lost 3-0 to Arthur Gillingham's team.

In the first Test, South Africa was bowled out for 30 with no batsman reaching double figures - a record that still stands today. The highest score was 7 by skipper Taylor. The all time lowest completed Test score is 26 by New Zealand.
