1924 2nd Test: Hobbs and Sutcliffe partnership delivers win (Lords)

Jack Hobbs (211) and Herbert Sutcliffe (122) put on 208 runs as England beat South Africa by an innings and 18 runs.

Frank Woolley completed a trio of centuries for England when he scored 134 batting at No 3 as they posted 531-2.

For South Africa, Robert Cotteral got 120 in their first dig, but they folded for 240 in their second innings to go down by an innings.
